Terranuova Bracciolini, Tuscany, AR - December 2016
Architectural Project, Interior Design, Construction Management, Lighting Design, Home Shopping, Staging and Photo by Rachele Biancalani Studio. This apartment on two levels appeared little suited to the needs of our client, a young emerging writer who lives alone and loves having friends. The living area had infact very limited size: in a few square meters were condensed kitchen, dining room and living room. Instead, there were three large bedrooms unnecessary for our customer. Also finishes, rustic, Tuscan (cooked to the floor, sponged yellow walls, the stone staircase with iron handrail) did not meet the tastes of the young customer that loved contemporary style. Although the budget was not very high, we managed to optimize it by investing in the fundamental changes that could transform the space: we demolished the kitchen's wall and we used one of the bedrooms to create a large kitchen and a dining room and better organize the big living area. A resin floor has successfully covered the old terracotta tiles and part of the stair. Master bedroom and guest room are both characterized by pink color as the rest of the apartment. White, pink (in all nuances) and chocolate brown reflect the personality and sweetness of Serena!
