Casa WR05 - In this refurbishment we used few, decisive touches that have allowed our client to enhance the already well-cut rooms, and at the same time renew the spaces in a decisive way.
In the night area the ceiling with beams and joists in dark stained fir wood and terracotta tiles has given way to a ceiling with exposed structure but all painted with opaque white water glaze. The red doussie parquet has been lightened and treated with water. The huge irregular windows finally have adequate blackout curtains made by our trusted upholsterer that are practical and beautiful that make it easy to use such spaces as bedrooms. Amazing the yield of the furnishings inherited from the previous owners returned to a new, resplendent life thanks to some coat of enamel or microresina.
Even the small bathroom between wardrobe and bedroom has become beautiful thanks to some resin coats. Even the cabinet where the sink rested was maintained: and to think that the plumber had insisted so much because he wanted us to throw away this piece of furniture ...
Our motto is: NEVER THROW when you can REUSE!
in the entrance area the false ceiling was already present but inside it housed only three huge spotlights from the store that warmed a lot and made light concentrated like bull's-eye in just three points. We have eliminated the spotlights and replaced them with one of our beloved strip LEDs: lots of light at little cost. The same type of lighting was used to illuminate the niche in which some custom-made shelves and the TV wall were treated with a spatula-moved finish. In the kitchen, the Fly chandelier by Kartell was placed on the projected table.
To characterize the environments we used a single color repeated in several strategic areas and in different finishes.
