Montevarchi (AR) Tuscany -July 2018
The Renovation of the Noble Floor of a luxurious Hystorical Building in the center of Montevarchi involved the Rachele Biancalani Studio who oversaw the Interior Design project passing from the definition of the Architectural Layout to the Interior Design Project, definiing the Lighting Design and Home Shopping. The first floor of the Palazzo, once Hotel of the Vasarri family, has once again assumed the old role of a hospitality area, becoming a luxury Bed & Breakfast complete with all the comforts that modern technologies can offer, from automated shutters to radiators above the large showers in order to give an enveloping warmth during daily shower.
The Client had very clear ideas regarding the minimal style that the environments should have had: large spaces with essential furnishings with simple shapes that were made to design, neutral colors that match the natural oak parquet provided by Edilmarket Failli in Montevarchi and precious and durable materials.
Therefore, the Designer advised to use quality products such as Paint, Decor and Patina from the Kerakoll Design system that with characterized all the the rooms’walls. The refined taste for design objects has been satisfied with the choice of Midj chairs and armchairs that find space in these minimal interiors but with an enveloping warmth.
The five rooms are each dedicated to a different Tuscan city: Florence, Arezzo, Lucca, Pisa and Siena and this is more than evident from the enormous pictures created by the Artist Luca Canonici exposed above the headboards of each bedroom.
Among all the room "Florence" stands out for its original decorated wooden ceilings that have been restored maintaining the original colors that are revealed to be extremely modern and match perfectly with the minimalist moods that have been created.
All the bathrooms have been covered with gray Kerlite and equipped with Artceram sanitary ware and Flaminia washbasins.
